Institute for Mental Health & Research (IMHR)

1. Policy Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all payments made to the Institute for Mental Health & Research (IMHR) for certification programs, workshops, training modules, and related educational services.

By enrolling in any IMHR program, you agree to this policy.


2. General Refund Rule

All course fees are non-refundable once access to course materials, LMS platforms, recorded sessions, or downloadable resources has been granted.

Access to digital content constitutes delivery of service.


3. Refund Eligibility (Limited Cases Only)

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate payment made due to technical error
  • Payment deducted but enrollment not activated
  • Program cancelled by IMHR

In such cases, users must submit a written refund request within 7 days of transaction date.

IMHR reserves the right to verify claims before processing any refund.


4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be granted for:

  • Change of mind after enrollment
  • Failure to complete coursework
  • Dissatisfaction due to personal expectations
  • Inability to attend live sessions
  • Lack of internet or technical capability
  • Academic performance outcomes
  • Misunderstanding of non-clinical nature of certification

Users are advised to review program details carefully before enrolling.


5. Administrative Deductions

Where refunds are approved, IMHR may deduct:

  • Payment gateway charges
  • Processing fees
  • Applicable taxes
  • Administrative costs

Refund processing may take 7–15 business days.


6. Installment Payments

If installment plans are offered:

  • Failure to complete payment may result in suspension of course access.
  • Previously paid installments are non-refundable.
  • Certification will not be issued until full payment is received.

7. Batch Transfers (If Applicable)

IMHR may, at its sole discretion, allow a one-time batch transfer request before course commencement. Transfer approval is not guaranteed and may involve administrative fees.


8. Program Cancellation by IMHR

If IMHR cancels a program before it begins:

  • Participants may receive a full refund, or
  • Transfer to another program of equivalent value

IMHR shall not be liable for additional costs incurred by participants.


9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting IMHR may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of course access
  • Withholding of certification
  • Legal recovery proceedings where necessary

Users agree to attempt resolution directly with IMHR before escalating disputes.


10. Policy Updates

IMHR reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Updated policies will be published on the website.

Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
